Why can't this election be about the real issues that affect us as Americans? Is the American electorate so stupid that some still REALLY believe Obama wasn't born in the US? I know Trump doesn't really believe that. Why won't Romney and other Republicans truly call him on it, telling him to STFU?
What do you think? Does Trump REALLY believe that Obama wasn't born in the US? Do you?
Presidential Election 2012
Obama v. Romney. Can this election be about issues, or will it be all smoke and mirrors? Here's hoping for an educational, issues-based election.

Bain Capital
All this talk about Bain Capital lately!
Obama is not anti-capitalism. Obama's point in criticizing the work of Bain Capital, and pointing out what Bain actually did, is because Romney's "main calling card for why he thinks he should be president is his business experience." So I would like Romney to explain his business experience and how it qualifies him to be president.
Let's get past the political BS. Make both Obama and Romney explain why they should be president. No sound bites. No pandering and getting people fired up over non-issues. No misleading. Give us facts. In this example, I want Romney to explain WHY his experience at Bain qualifies him to be president. Because he does express that quite often.
I will most likely be voting for Obama this November. However, I respect that there are many opinions on subjects. I don't hate Republicans. I don't love Democrats unconditionally. I want facts and want to make an educated decision based on those facts.
Thoughts? Comment below, but keep it respectful of others!

Donald Trump getting in the mix?
Trump is swinging way to the right, and picking on the one group that it's still socially acceptable to put down to show how "conservative" you are - the gays. He can Marry 3 times (And divorce twice - for now) but the gays don't deserve either the right to marry or the right to ANY federal protections for their families. FUDT.

And so it begins... Newt Gingrich is exploring a run.
Newt Gingrich has officially launched an exploratory committee looking to become the Republican presidential nominee to run against Barack Obama. How will the Tea Partiers like this candidate? Looks like this will be an interesting almost 2 years. With Newt in, what will happen with Sarah Palin? Mike Huckabee? Ron Paul? Who do you think will end up being the party's nominee? How do you think they'll do against Obama?
My personal view of Gingrich is not positive. He spent the 90's (and continues today) to portray himself as Mr. Family Values. He wants to impose on each and every household what his personal view of a family is. While he wants to deem my family not a family in his book, he has had 3 families by his own definitions. He was one man, one woman. Then he cheated on one woman with another woman so became one man, two women. The he divorced one woman to marry other woman, and was now one man, one woman again (he divorced her while she was dying of cancer, btw). Then, Mr. Gingrich decided to become one man, two women again, and began cheating on his new wife. He then divorced her, and married his 3rd wife, to once again become one man, one woman. THIS is true family values, according to Mr. Gingrich. If he wants to judge my family, I have every right to judge his.
